Pea Nails
<!-- start InLinkz script -->
<div id="wpImg214496" style="text-align: center;">This week for the Llama Nails Alphabet Challenge the letter is "P"!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">After much thought and talking with the hubby I decided to do Pea Nails. ;-)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2620#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2620"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2620" alt="peanails2" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/peanails2.jpg" width="388" height="204" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I started with Revlon Royal. I only did one coat, but it looks like I should have done 2!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I added rhinestones to my accent nail using top coat as "glue".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2619#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2619"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2619" alt="peanails1" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/peanails1.jpg" width="388" height="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Then I used a dotting tool to dot Sinful Colors Olympia onto the rhinestones.</div>

Pic Heavy 3 Christmas Eve Manicures!!!
I had 3 different challenges to do for today!!
- Christmas/Holiday for the Let It Snow Challenge
- Tinsel for the 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge
- Santa & Elves for the Winter Holiday Challenge
I did the 1st two manis ahead of time so I could wear my Santa & Elves on Christmas Eve! ;-)
Please excuse my horrible cuticles in these photos, the cold weather is doing a real number on them & I haven't been keeping up with the cuticle oil. :(
I'll start my post with my Tinsel mani.
I started with Milani 3D Holographic-HD. Beautiful right?
Here's a close up!
Looks like tinsel doesn't it? I was so proud of myself for this! :)

then I added a thin coat of Cover Girl Snow Globe to my ring finger and added some silver & red bar glitter.

<p style="text-align: center;">Today's 12 days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge was Elves!</p>
<img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2598" alt="elves2" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/elves2.jpg" width="388" height="201" />
<p style="text-align: center;">I started with Nicole by OPI All Is Glam, All Is Bright! Such a pretty full coverage glitter!! For the reds I used Orly Torrid and Revlon Red Star. The white is LA Colors White. The black is Finger Paints Black Expressionism and the green is Revlon Posh.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2597#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2597"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2597" alt="elves1" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/elves1.jpg" width="388" height="206" /></a>♥A</p>

Ornaments
Christmas is only 6 DAY AWAY!!
Are you guys all ready??? I've been done shopping for awhile and we are mostly wrapped so now it's time to sit back and enjoy time with my family and friends! :)
I have 3 challenges today! The first is an "O" mani for Llama Nails, the 2nd is Ornaments for The 12 Days Of Christmas Challenge and the third is Christmas Decoration ( Tree, Ornaments, Wreath etc.) for The Winter Holiday Challenge!
This photo was my inspiration!
Pretty ornaments right? I especially loved the red and green ones with the gold!
As soon as I saw this picture I knew I had some stamping plates that would work perfectly to recreate these ornaments on my nails! ;-)
I started with Color Club Berry & Bright, Finger Paints Easel Come, Easel Go!, Pure Ice Blue Midnight, Color Club Ho Ho Holly and China Glaze Flying Dragon.
Flying Dragon and Blue Midnight weren't quite as shimmery as I wanted so I coated them with essie luxeffects pure pearlfection.
I used BM-314 and Maybelline Gold Rules on my Thumb, BM14 and Konad White on my Index finger, LO03 and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes for my middle finger, CH10 & Gold Rules on my ring finger BM-209 and LA Colors Phenomena on my pinky.♥A

December Nail Art Society Bag
<p style="text-align: center;">I got my first <a href="http://www.nailartsociety.com/">Nail Art society Bag</a> last week!!!!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">It has taken all my self control to not post until now! I was like a little kid in a candy store when opening the package!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Here's what was in the package this month.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/wreath-reindeer-sleigh/dsc02146/#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2575"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2575" alt="DSC02146" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/dsc02146.jpg" width="388" height="282" /></a></p>
<div style="text-align: center;">The nail art theme this month was Dripping in Diamonds & they included an instruction card for how to achieve the look, but I forgot to photograph it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>In this month's bag I received:</strong></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><strong> 2 polishes</strong>. They are both Max Makeup Cherimoya matte-n-a brand. The silver one is called Blockbuster and the berry one is Mystery. I have photos lower down in the post, but for now I'll just say I liked the polish, it was a one coater! It smells funny and the brush is kind of HUGE, but it went on well and I didn't even have a problem with drag!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">The Stella package standing up in the background has <strong>several sizes of rhinestones</strong> in it along with an orange stick. I used them on the mani for this post and they were very sparkly and pretty, just the way rhinestones should be. ;-)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">They also included <strong>nail glue</strong> for the rhinestones. I'm not a fan of using nail glue, I prefer top coat. I'll probably end up using it for nail repairs instead.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Last but not least there was a container of <strong>Cherimoya Jasmine nail remover pads</strong>. I haven't tried them out yet, but I'll try to remember to let you all know what I think of them once I do.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I'm glad I joined mid November because just before my package came I received an email letting me know the monthly price was going up for new members!! Thankfully I am locked into the original price. :D</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">So here's what I did following the tutorial on the enclosed card. I was slightly disappointed that the card didn't include a photo example with the tutorial, but the tutorial was very explanatory so I ended up not needing a photo after all. ;-)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2593#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2593"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2593" alt="DSC02163gimp" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/dsc02163gimp1.jpg" width="388" height="212" /></a>They are definitely "<em>Dripping In Diamonds"</em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">Aren't those polish colors gorgeous?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I'd never heard of this company before, have you?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ourpaintedworld.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=2592#main" rel="attachment wp-att-2592"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2592" alt="DSC02161gimp" src="http://ourpaintedworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/dsc02161gimp1.jpg" width="388" height="244" /></a>I didn't use a top coat because I wanted to keep the matte look of the polish!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I'm really excited to try the polish and rhinestones out separately on other manicures!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">So far I'm happy with the first kit I received.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I'm not sure I would have signed up at the new price.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">I looked up all the products in this kit and using the cheapest prices I found for each item it came out to $21.92 (including shipping, but not any tax). Since I paid for a full year my monthly price is $8.28... I feel like I'm getting a really good price for the kit!!!!</div>

Ugly Christmas Sweater
Ugly Christmas Sweaters for the Let It Snow Challenge!!!
I was excited for this one! I had my share of ugly Christmas sweaters n the late 80's early 90's!! LOL! Fortunately for me I don't have any of them now, but I may be able to scrounge up a picture before I post this!! ;-)
Here are my ugly Christmas sweater nails!
I started with Pure Ice Femme Fatale (which seems to be my go to Christmas Green this year!) then I stamped an image from plate BM-204 with Konad White and tipped them with Pure Ice Crimson.
I think they turned out really good!!!

Glittery Snowflakes
More snowflakes!!! This set of snowflakes are for the 12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge.
I decided to go with a red glittery look for these ones, but I didn't want to do a full nail like I've done for the past 2 snowflake challenges!!
So here they are!
I started with Orly French manicure-Sheer Nude, then tipped them with Revlon Red Star. This is my oldest red glitter and still one of my favorites! Next I added a thin coat of Sally Hansen Gem Crush Cha-Ching and A Stripe of a Silver Nail Star2-way pen.
The final touch was to use the snowflakes from plate QA19 and I added a few dots for snow!
I ran a few errands and had another Doctor appointment today and I got so many compliments and people asking where I get my nails done! YAY!!! I love to tell people I do my own nails! :D

Gifts, Giftwrap, Presents
Another double challenge! Gifts for the 12 Days Of Christmas Challenge and Presents/ Giftwrap for the Winter Holiday Challenge. I'm thankful that so many of my double challenges are syncing up! :D
You can see I have a small smudge on the tip of my middle finger, sorry! I ended up in the ER half way through this mani and that nail got smudged on the way! The Doctor thinks it was a gall bladder attack!! Crazy! I finished the mani up the day after, but just didn't have it in me to fix the boo boo spot. :(
On the bright side the Doctors and nurses were super impressed with my 1/2 done manicure! LOL!
I used plate QA19 for the snowflakes and holly. The Merry Christmas was done with plate m12.
I put my polishes away before I wrote this post so I can't remember which red I used, but the true green is Revlon Posh, the bright green is a Pure Ice. The white is LA Colors White and Konad White.

Christmas Color Blocking
This is my first real try at color blocking! Crazy Right!?!?! I was excited to try it out!
Originally I planned on color blocking all my nails so I started out with Pure Ice Crushed! It's a beautiful deep gold that is in their new Velour Finish Collection. This is 2 thin coats that went on smooth and dried fast!
There's a lot going on in this mani! Stickers, Techniques, Colors & even different Finishes/Textures!
You can see below My index and middle finger have 2 of Pure Ice's Velour Finish colors without top coat. My ring finger are those same 2 colors with NYC In A New York Minute Top Coat. Click the pictures to enlarge them so you can see the difference a little better! :D
As you can see I ended up with a sort of color blocking/skittles mani! I used Pure Ice Femme Fatale on my index finger and Sweet-Tart on my pinky. My thumb is Crushed with 2 coats of Victoria's Secret Supercharged.
My index finger is all of the above. I used striping tape to do the color blocking. This last photo is very color accurate for all colors!

Run, Run As Fast As You Can...dy Cane
Two more Challenge manis down today!!!
Crumpet Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge is Gingerbread Men & Candy Canes!
The 12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge is also Candy Canes! Yay for me!!
I started with LA Colors White then I stamped the gingerbread man from BM-222 with Orly Prince Charming.
I added the stripes and polka dots with Pure Ice Femme Fatale and Butter London Pillar Box Red.
<=====To see more Candy Canes from the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge click this link!
Snow Flakes & Snowfall
Today is the start of another challenge for me!!
It's The Winter Holiday Challenge by Crumpet Nail Tarts Facebook Group.
Here is my Snowflake/Snowfall mani.
I started with Pure Ice-French Kiss
This is one of my favorite blue polishes! :)
Next I did a coat of Pure Ice After Hours
It's such a sparkly glitter! It has blue and silver micro glitter with larger silver hex glitter.
I added the snowmen using Konad White with Pure Ice Femme Fatale for the hat and Sweet-Tart for the scarf.
My snowfall dots are LA Colors white.
Here's a shot to show how much the glitter sparkles
The snowflakes are fimo slices from one of the kits I got from Sally Beauty.
I didn't top coat this at all because I wanted to reuse the snowflakes in another mani later this month! ;-)
